Kadın ve LGBTİ+ hareketi, Türkiye'de tarihsel olarak toplumsal muhalefetin ve hak mücadelelerinin sürükleyici, ilham verici ve ufuk açıcı parçalarından birini, belki de en önemlisini oluşturuyor. Eylemde yaratıcılık ve kararlılık, güçlendirici dayanışma ve zengin teorik tartışmalar, bu hareketlerin merkezinde yer alıyor. Türkiye'de kadın ve LGBTİ+ hareketinin tarihini, güncel mücadele gündemini ve toplumsal muhalefet içindeki rolünü anlamak için, önce feminizmin ve eşcinsel kurtuluş mücadelesinin kavramsal repertuvarına, hareketlerin Türkiye'deki seyrine ve kimi dönüm noktalarına daha yakından bakacağız.

The Women's and LGBTI+ movement has historically been one of the driving, inspirational, and enlightening components of social opposition and rights struggles in Turkey, perhaps even the most important one. Creativity and determination in action, empowering solidarity, and rich theoretical discussions are at the heart of these movements. To understand the history of the women's and LGBTI+ movement in Turkey, their current struggle agenda, and their role within social opposition, we will first take a closer look at the conceptual repertoire of feminism and gay liberation struggle, the course of these movements in Turkey, and some key turning points.
